  7.           (TUCSON, AZ -- Dec. 5, 1995) -- Artisoft, Inc. announced 
  8.           today that it has begun shipping the Artisoft(R) 
  9.           T-Runner(TM) II Hub-8 and Hub- 16 external hub/concentrators 
  10.           for use in 10BASE-T network installations.  These IEEE 
  11.           802.3-compliant concentrators are compatible with major 
  12.           Ethernet environments, including Artisoft's LANtastic(R) 
  13.           network operating system, Microsoft's Windows(R) 95 and 
  14.           Novell's NetWare(R).  Regular MSRP pricing is $229 and $459 
  15.           respectively for the T-Runner II Hub-8 and Hub-16.

  18.           us they want networking hardware that's simple to set up, 
  19.           affordably priced and built to the same quality standards as 
  20.           their LANtastic software; these hubs provide just that,"

  27.           PROMOTIONAL BUNDLE

  29.           For a limited time, the hubs will be available to resellers 
  30.           in a discounted special bundle with Artisoft's 
  31.           NodeRunner/SI(TM) 2000/T adapters, the UTP version of the 
  32.           NodeRunner/SI Ethernet adapter family.  Resellers will be 
  33.           able to save $99 (off the MSRP) on the T-Runner II Hub-8 and 
  34.           a five-pack of NodeRunner(R) 2000/T adapters when purchased 
  35.           with a five-user version of the LANtastic network.

  37.           Resellers will save an even greater amount of $159 (off the 
  38.           MSRP) on the T-Runner II Hub-16 and a 10-pack of NodeRunner 
  39.           2000/T adapters with the purchase of a 10-user version of 
  40.           the LANtastic network.  These promotional bundles will be 
  41.           offered through Artisoft's distribution partners as long as 
  42.           quantities last from now through Jan. 31, 1996.

  44.           FEATURES
  45.      
  46.           The T-Runner II Hubs allow users to easily expand their 
  47.           networks and share computer resources.  The T-Runner II 
  48.           Hub-8 will connect up to eight client or server PCs, 
  49.           portable PCs and print servers via its RJ-45 ports.
  50.           The T-Runner II Hub-16 will function in the same way, except 
  51.           that it will connect up to 16 devices.

  53.           These passive hubs comply with the IEEE 802.3 10BASE2, 
  54.           10BASE5 and 10BASE-T Ethernet standards, and have the 
  55.           capability to cascade to other hubs, giving users even 
  56.           greater flexibility in expanding their networks.  The 
  57.           T-Runner II Hub-8 can be daisy chained to other hubs via its 
  58.           10BASE2 thin coax port or its eighth RJ-45 (10BASE-T) port. 
  59.           The T-Runner II Hub-16 will connect to other hubs similarly, 
  60.           through its 10BASE2 thin coax port, its 16th RJ-45 
  61.           (10BASE-T) port, or its AUI (10BASE5) port.

  63.           Easily set up, the hubs increase network stability by 
  64.           maintaining connections, even when a faulty node is 
  65.           attached.  The hubs support auto partition and reconnection 
  66.           to isolate faulty nodes and collision activity.  In 
  67.           addition, each 10BASE-T port on the hubs has built-in 
  68.           polarity detection and correction logic feature to 
  69.           automatically adjust for crossed and uncrossed cables.

  71.           Users will be able to verify network setup and node activity 
  72.           at a glance on both hubs via Link/Data status LEDs, which 
  73.           will indicate proper operation and connection for each port. 
  74.           Both hubs will also include a status power-on LED.

  76.           The hubs are designed to be set up in minutes without 
  77.           software configuration.  Their small size and built-in 
  78.           brackets will allow them to be conveniently placed on 
  79.           desktops, stacked with other hubs or mounted on a wall.

  81.           and free limited technical support upon product 
  82.           registration.

  109.           that it has begun shipping two new NodeRunnerr Ethernet 
  110.           adapters.  The NodeRunner Pro UTP Ethernet adapter supports 
  111.           10BASE-T (unshielded twisted pair) cabling and the 
  112.           NodeRunner Pro Combo Ethernet adapter supports both 10BASE-T 
  113.           and 10BASE2 (thin coaxial) cabling.  The adapters start at 
  114.           $99 and $109 (MSRP) respectively for the UTP and Combo 
  115.           versions and are sold in one, five and 10-user packages.

  139.           Based on Intel's S82595FX ISA Ethernet Controller Chip, the 
  140.           NodeRunner Pro Ethernet adapters use one-third the power of 
  141.           other Ethernet adapters, while providing superior 
  142.           performance for high-powered PCs.  The NodeRunner Pro 
  143.           Ethernet adapters increase network throughput by using 
  144.           concurrent processing, an early transmit and receive 
  145.           technology.

  147.           The NodeRunner Pro Ethernet adapters are further enhanced 
  148.           with a 32KB buffer RAM, which increases performance by 
  149.           reducing overhead on networks with high traffic and/or
